Buy or DIY?

When I completed my first Whole30 in 2015, there were approximately zero compatible store-bought condiments, sauces & dressings. It felt overwhelming at first, an insurmountable task to make everything myself, but I actually started to enjoy making my own. Everything tasted so delicious. I felt like a boss. Make your own ketchup, and you realize you can do anything!

Almost six years later, a food revolution has begun & continues to thrive. There are now countless Whole30-approved options on the market and it thrills me to witness this change. At the same time, these products are often more expensive, with good reason, but the cost can still quickly add up. Therefore, I buy AND DIY to find my balance between saving time and saving money.

You never want to find yourself hangry & without a plan on Whole30, so use this list to prep your pantry & fridge with products and/or ingredients.
